"Love Me as I Am"
2025 SUSFUTURE
International Sustainable Design Exhibition
Celebrating diversity, sustainability, and innovation in fashion.
We invite works that embrace people, planet, and culture with empathy, creativity, and care.
1 Introduction
Love Me as I Am places love at the heart of design: acceptance, dignity, and care for both people and the planet. Fashion influences our daily lives, and design determines whose bodies are welcomed, whose stories are honoured, and how materials flow through the world.
This exhibition invites works that celebrate diversity, respect cultural heritage, and approach design with empathy. We embrace the use of traditional crafts and heritage techniques alongside forward-thinking, digital innovations. Whether through sustainable materials, bio-based fibres, or digitally generated designs, beauty is inclusive, and sustainability is real.
We support approaches that connect human wellbeing with environmental stewardship: from adaptive design to non-toxic colouration, fair labour practices, and solutions that encourage repair, longevity, and the circular economy. We also welcome virtual fashion, AI-assisted design, and other technologies that reduce waste and promote sustainable innovation.
SUSFUTURE 2025 invites designers, artisans, technologists, and communities to submit works where care is embedded in form, where aesthetics and ethics reinforce each other, and where impact is tangible—socially, materially, and culturally. The brief is to design fashion that heals, includes, and endures—loving people as they are and the Earth as it is.
