INTRO

SUSFUTURE 2025 International Sustainable Fashion Design Exhibition — Love Me as I Am foregrounds love as a design ethic: acceptance, dignity and care for people and planet. Fashion is the fabric that touches our bodies every day; design is the practice that decides whose bodies are welcomed, whose stories are honoured, and how materials move through the world. Love Me as I Am invites works that embrace diverse bodies and identities, respect cultural roots, and design with empathy—so that beauty is not exclusive, and sustainability is not abstract.

We champion approaches that link human wellbeing with environmental stewardship: inclusive and adaptive pattern cutting, size and gender diversity, disability- and age-friendly detailing; bio-based and low-carbon fibres, non-toxic colouration, transparent and fair labour; repair, mending and modularity that extend emotional durability; and digital/AI-assisted prototyping that reduces sampling waste. Craft knowledge and frontier technology are encouraged to meet—reviving heritage while shaping circular futures.

SUSFUTURE 2025 is an open invitation to designers, artisans, technologists, communities and students to present designs where care becomes form, where aesthetics and ethics reinforce each other, and where impact is tangible—socially, materially and culturally. Loving people as they are and the Earth as it is becomes a radical brief: to design fashion that heals, includes and endures.
